The state legislative session in Georgia will begin on January 13th, with a host of new issues that range from charter enhancements to credit union law, lending issues, lien law issues, and tax issues, to name just a few. All credit unions make a difference, and one avenue to learn how is through attending the State GAC/Grassroots Academy on January 28th. This 12th annual state governmental affairs day for credit union leaders is held around the Georgia legislative session and is an immersion into all things political for credit unions to gain an insider’s view into the influences and influencers of the legislative world.
