January will be here in a blink of an eye. And January will bring the cold, the second half of the Georgia legislative session, and the 12th State GAC/Grassroots Academy! With the presidential primary early for Georgia next year (March 24), it will likely dominate the news and ads, and there’s much more to the legislative process than the presidential elections. This January event will be a good window to jump-start your year with the information on the legislative issues that impact your credit union.
The 2020 State GAC/Grassroots Academy is the state governmental affairs day for credit unions. Held downtown across from Georgia’s state Capitol in Atlanta, it is an immersion into the legislative issues that impact the industry, and insight into the elections and the political players that can impact how credit unions operate.
