Mother Nature can be unpredictable, and when the winter storm warnings and weather radar paths came crashing down, threatening the state with icy doom, state offices closed on January 29th – the same day as the State GAC/Grassroots Academy!
As such, GCUA is in the midst of working with the state Capitol facilities and each of the speakers to identify a new date, with a window of time to allow ample room for participants to consider their calendars. The rescheduled date will be shared with participants as soon as it is set, and we thank everyone for how quickly they shared back with GCUA that they had received the cancellation information (as we did not want anyone stuck in a “snowpocalypse 2”). Please be on the watch for a new date.
