Creating Influence

Hike the Hill in September

On September 13th through the 15th Georgia credit unions will be in Washington, D.C., at “Hike the Hill” to educate Congress on legislative and regulatory issues of importance. This is the opportunity to connect with Georgia members of Congress to address legislative issues and priorities for the entire industry.

  • How Much Does It Cost? Attendees pay for the room and the flight. Accommodations have been reserved at the Grand Hyatt with a rate of $299 plus tax per night for single and double occupancy rooms. There is no charge to attend.
  • What Is the Schedule? Tentative plans have the group flying to D.C. on the 13th with briefings in the afternoon, and the 14th for a full day of legislative meetings with elected officials. Depending upon legislator schedules, Hill visits may be completed on the morning of the 15th with an early afternoon departure.
  • How to Register? For additional information about this event and/or to register, please contact Becky Moore or Cindy Connelly at 770-476-9625 by August 9th.
